[[Obsidian]] # Obsidian Links ## How to use Obsidian Links `Ctrl + Shift + L` = Copy Obsidian URL Alternatively, it can be found in the Obsidian file menu under "Copy Obsidian URL". This will result in a link that looks something like this: `obsidian://open?vault=notes&file=Evergreen%20Notes%2FObsidian%20Links` You can use this link anywhere you would a website link, however clicking it will open Obsidian instead of your web browser. This **will** work across different vaults, or even different applications. However, it does depend on your vault names staying consistent over time. If you change the name of your vault (e.g. changing the folder name), all existing links to that vault will break until updated.
